Caregiver for Persons with Disabilities

Description

We are hiring a Caregiver to look after our loved ones in our home while we are at work. This is a permanent and full-time position.

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is not a condition for employment.

Duties include:

• Launder clothing and household linens,
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene,
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties,
• Mend clothing and linens,
• Provide personal care,
• change non-sterile dressings,
• Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
• Administer medications,
• Administer bedside and personal care,

Additional Skills: Care for pets

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• must be able to perform  full manual transfer
• Ability to give support for more than 125 lbs;

Wage: $20.00 per hour

The Caregiver must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Secondary School or equivalent
• Employer will train.

• Employment references are required and will be checked.
