Job Description:
– Read product diagrams and follow instructions
-Assemble cabinets and other wooden parts like cabinet door panels, plyboards, laminates and other modular parts by using nails, screws, staples, glue etc.
– Carefully operate hand and machine tools to trim, smooth, shape and join wooden parts
-Install hardware such as handles, knobs, hinges, locks to the cabinets and other parts
– Mark defective parts for repair & repair minor defects
– Reinforce and install assembled products to the walls and shelves using nails, screws, glue
– Perform minor servicing to the machines and tools to maintain them
– Clean and organise the work area after work
– Perform such other duties as instructed by the supervisor
