Seoul Trading Corp. in Port Coquitlam is looking for a Buyer to join our team.
Title: Buyer
Employer: Seoul Trading Corp.
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 26.00 – CAD 28.00 per hour
Working hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: #1-1560 Broadway St. Port Coquitlam BC, V3C 2M8
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Post-secondary education in business or related program is required.
- 1-2 years of previous work experience in related field is required.
Main Duties:
- Purchase products for resale including packaged food products and houseware from Asia
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choice
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
- Negotiate product quality, contracts, shipping costs, etc. with suppliers
- Create reports on sales, budgets, and customer satisfaction
- Establish and implement supplier guidelines and obligations
