iTeck Roofing Inc. is currently hiring skilled BUILT-UP FLAT ROOFERS for jobs across the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario.

Duties of the position:

• Installing, repairing, or replacing conventional built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and gravel
• Installing, repairing, or replacing single ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics or asphalt compositions
• Working with all conventional and inverted roofing such as hot, cold, torch, TPO, PVC, and EPDM roofing systems
• Applying waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces above or below ground level
• Using hand tools and power tools for installation
• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
• Maintaining safety certifications and adhering to safety regulations on job site

Requirements/Qualifications:

• At least two years of ICI roofing experience
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
• Availability for overtime and some weekend hours
• Reliable team play with excellent physical stamina
• Safety training certificates for the industry although training provided

Hours and Wages:

This is a unionized position through Union Local 30; if hired, all candidates will be required to become a member (if not already). Applicable medical, dental and pension benefits as per union’s collective agreement after probationary period.

Rates of pay depend on previous work experience

Between $35.62 and $43.81 per hour

This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week throughout the year.
