iTeck Roofing Inc. is currently hiring skilled BUILT-UP FLAT ROOFERS for jobs across the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
- Installing, repairing, or replacing conventional built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and gravel
- Installing, repairing, or replacing single ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics or asphalt compositions
- Working with all conventional and inverted roofing such as hot, cold, torch, TPO, PVC, and EPDM roofing systems
- Applying waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces above or below ground level
- Using hand tools and power tools for installation
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings
- Maintaining safety certifications and adhering to safety regulations on job site
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two years of ICI roofing experience
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Availability for overtime and some weekend hours
- Reliable team play with excellent physical stamina
- Safety training certificates for the industry although training provided
HOURS AND WAGES:
Rates of pay depend on previous work experience, between $28.00 to $35 per hour
Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week throughout the year.
