Vacancy: 1

Working Hours: 40 hrs/week

Work Shift: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Wage: $26.50-$27.50 per hour

Benefit: Extended health benefits offered after 3 months of employment

We are looking for an experienced Building Manager to provide building management services at our managed property.

Main duties

  • Coordinating and overseeing regular building maintenance and repairs
  • Maintaining records relating to maintenance, costs and building occupants
  • Managing and directing cleaning and security staff and activities
  • Monitoring maintenance budgets
  • Supervising, monitoring, evaluating and disciplining maintenance, security, and cleaning staff
  • Liaising with external contractors and service providers and negotiating prices
  • Conducting regular building inspections and preparing reports
  • Ensuring facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes
  • Responding to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolving any problems or issues
  • Preparing and providing various reports as requested
  • Other related duties as directed

Employment Requirements

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • 1 – 2 years of previous experience as a similar role is preferred
  • Motivated and professional with a service-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to handle conflict tactfully
  • Computer proficiency including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
