Pet Grooming Supervisor (2 Positions)
Job Type: Permanent full time
Start Wage: $22.00/hour, 35 – 40 hours per week.
Shifts include: Day, Morning, Evening, Weekend.
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 1-year experience working in related field or equivalence considered
Job Duties:
- Coordinate, assign and review the work of the workers
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to manager
- Evaluate daily operations
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Monitor quality and production levels
- Perform pet grooming activities if necessary.
- Address customers’ complains or concerns
Pet Groomer (3 Positions)
Job Type: Permanent full time
Start Wage: $17.00/hour, 35 – 40 hours per week.
Shifts include: Day, Morning, Evening, Weekend, On Call
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma is required;
- Experience in pet care and related fields is an asset, will provide training. Equivalency considered.
Job Duties:
- Prepare food and feed animals, fish or birds at scheduled intervals
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens and surrounding areas
- Shampoo, clip and groom animals
- Assist veterinarians and animal health technologists and technicians to inoculate and treat animals
- Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals
