Salary: $29.00 / hour

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work setting: Urban area

Computer and technology knowledge: PCLaw in the Cloud, Accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Simply Accounting.

Tasks:

Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, Post journal entries, Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, Prepare tax returns, Prepare trial balance of books, Reconcile accounts.

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Overtime required, Repetitive tasks, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
