Job duties:
give facial and other body treatments, like waxing, using specialized products and techniques
advise customers on the use of make-up and other beauty products and apply make-up to customers
apply medicated lotions to treat scalp conditions and hair loss
clean, shape and polish fingernails and toenails and provide related treatments
being able to apply gel and/or acrylic nails is an asset
administer massage techniques, treating soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation and relaxation techniques
sanitize materials and maintain general cleanliness of work environment
This concerns 5 indeterminate, full-time job offers (30 hours/week or more). Wage: $15.50/hour. There are no benefits included in these job offers. The location of the job will be in Kelowna at 1171 Harvey Avenue. The anticipated start date is 1 March 2021.
Requirements education/work experience: you need to have finished high-school and have successfully completed beauty school or other courses in some or most of the areas covered by this position. Having at least 1 year of on-the-job experience is an asset.
