Bear Mountain Resort & Spa Ltd. is seeking a F/T Accounting Technician.

Position Info:

·         Position: Accounting Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $22.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1999 Country Club Way, Victoria, BC V9B 6R3

Job Duties:

·         Prepare month end journal entries and reconcile various general ledger accounts, including multiple bank and credit card reconciliations using bookkeeping systems.

·         Assist the Controller with development and monitoring of internal control systems and process improvement.

·         Optimize business processes and drive the automation of current accounting work to reduce administrative workload for accounting department

·         Process and submit documents regarding tax, compensation, pension, and others.

·         Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utilities, taxes, and other bills.

·         Prepare financial, statistical, and accounting reports.

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Language: English
