Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd. dba Tim Hortons in Ladysmith is looking for Permanent, Full-time positions for Five Bakers to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.

Location: 12610B Trans Canada Hwy, Ladysmith, British Columbia, V9G 0B6

Positions Available: 5 (Five)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $18 per hour

Work hours: 40 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Operates a variety of kitchen equipment; measures and mixes ingredients, washes, peels, cuts and shreds food items 
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment 
• Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices and complies with HACCP standards 
• Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
• Purchase baking supplies and give an estimate to management about the stocks and required items for the kitchen.
• Assist other kitchen staffs and train the new employees in the kitchen

Skill Requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Employment: 1 year to less than 2 years
