Chef’s Depot Scarborough Ontario
A newly opening Chinese Restaurant located at unit A45, 2900 Markham Road in Scarborough, Ontario is seeking a candidate to fill the following position: Baker
Position Details: Full-Time Permanent, 35 hours/week
Wage: $16.00/hour
Work Setting: Chinese Restaurant located in Scarborough Ontario

Job Duties:
Prepare and make all bakery items, including items for dim sum service
Inspect and ensure proper colour combination for baked items
Decorate and display baked items
Ensure Quality of products meet established standards
Assist and support senior chef(s)
Draw up production schedules to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
Purchase baking supplies
Test ingredients and finished baked items to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality control
Personal Suitability:
Self starter, effective interpersonal skills, team player, dependable, organized, good planning, ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years experiences as a baker; Cantonese Dim Sum baking will be considered as an asset
Education: No formal education is required
Language: English
