We are very popular and famous café in Vancouver, BC and we provide the high quality of coffee and a lot of various sweets, sandwiches and baked goods. Also, we are always welcoming our lovely customers with a lovely smile. Now, we are looking for an experienced Full time Baker position.

Job Duties:

-Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

-Bake mixed doughs and batters

-Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods

-Ensure quality of products meets established standards

-Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce

-Purchase baking supplies

-Physically fit, able to stand for long periods/lift heavy objects

-May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

-Able to take direction and communicate within a team environment

-Maintain a sanitary work environment

Qualifications:

Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

Experience: 2+ years of commercial baking experience is required.

Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or completion of a college or other program for bakers will be advantage.

Wage: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour and 10 days or 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year.

Working Condition: 30~40 hours a week.

Working Location: 1399 W. 7^th Avenue Vancouver, BC V6H 1B8
