Description
We live in Unionville, ON and we have three children. We are looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable full-time nanny/caregiver (prefer female) who enjoys being involved with children out on outings, to the park, for lessons and engages in creative activities at home. Hours work are Monday- Friday and possibly some weekends, approximately 35 hours per week at $15.00 per hour, but some flexibility is required. We will also be expecting help with housekeeping to maintain a healthy environment in the home.
One of the children is an immunocompromised baby. We are looking for someone who is strictly adhering to the Covid-19 provincial guidelines.
Requirements: – Minimum 1 year of experience in an employment situation as a babysitter/caregiver is required – Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience – English is required. Speaking an additional language is a strong assets but are not required; Strong attention to details – Ability to problem solve on site situations and take the initiative to get the job completed in a timely manner.
Duties: – Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare baby for rest periods, bath, dress and feed the baby. Also playing and supervising the two other children (3 years and 7) if they are home- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children – Prepare and serve nutritious meals – Supervise and care for the children – Support children with personal hygiene and social development – Tend to the emotional well-being of the children – Supervise as needed with virtual learning for older child. Security and Safety: – Criminal record check, reference required.
Work Setting: – Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment
