Vacancy: Four (4)                 Location: Kelowna, BC

Description: Fulltime 40 hours per week

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Site Environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders) Programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Work Setting: Group home, Work in employer's/client's home; Community Centre, Private residence, Various locations; Willing to relocate

RESPONSIBILITIES: Tasks:

Administrative and office activities, appraise client's needs or eligibility for specific services; Assess client's relevant skill strenghts and development needs; Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community; Housekeeping activities; Food preparation; Resolve conflict situations; Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses; implement behaviour management programs; Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients; Assist clients to appointments and social outings.

Weight:  More than 45 kg (100lbs)
