Automotive Service Technician

Pal Fuel Injections & Turbo Ltd is looking for Full time Automotive Service Technician who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.

 

Work Location:  12837 76 Ave #209, Surrey, BC

Position Available: 2 (Two)

Compensation: $34 per hour

Hours per week: 30 hours per week

Language of work: English

 

Job responsibilities

Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services and review work orders and discuss work with supervisor

Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.

Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment

Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.

Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts

Road test vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist

Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles Provide guidance

Document all work performed on the repair order

Report any safety issues immediately to management

Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours

Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation

 

 

Skill Requirements:

 

2 to 3 year of relevent experience

 

Education:

 

Completion of secondary school
