Wages:                       $24.00 per hour, 30-44 hours a week

With a reputation for quality in Automotive Services, Babs Auto Sales has established itself as a local car repair and sales business in the Oshawa region. Babs Auto Sales services and sells all makes of vehicles and had recently added a full-size paint booth in their location.

Babs Auto is currently looking for 2 Automotive Painters to join the team based out of Oshawa Ontario.  The Painters will be mainly responsible for finishing and repaint body surfaces of vehicles on the premises.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and report paint costs, estimates, and plan work to be performed;
  • Straighten bent frames using pulling and anchoring equipment;
  • File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools;
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting;
  • Mix paint, blend and match colours;
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns.
  • SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be well organized and punctual;
  • Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • One year to less than two years of experince is preferred
