Working Location Address: #8, 2794 Aberdeen Avenue, Coquitlam, BC. V3B 1A3
Wage: $36.00 – $37.00/hour and 4 % of vacation pay
Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week

Start date of Employment: A.S.A.P (will be adjustable)

 

[Duties]:

– Estimate the proper repair cost based on the damage examination report.
– Responsible for inspecting the repaired vehicles.
– Replacing front-end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
– Take off damaged fenders, panels, and grills, then secure replacement parts with bolts or welding.
– Prepare paint by mixing and matching colours.
– File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.
– Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.

 

[Requirements]:

– Completion of secondary school required.
– Completion of a three- to four-year auto body and collision damage technician apprenticeship program or a combination of over three years of work experience as an Automotive Body Painter.
