(Restaurant Assistant Manager)
We are looking for well experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager for “Magna Golf Club” located at 14780 Leslie Street Aurora, ON L4G 7C3 Canada.
Job Summary: The Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality Member service, and managing staff. This role involves supervising front-of-house and back-of-house operations, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring a positive dining experience for Member and guests.
Duties:
· Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth food service for club members and guests.
· Supervise and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff, maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service efficiency.
· Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and mentoring employees to meet peak hours, club events, and seasonal demands.
· Ensure the timely execution of food and beverage orders with premium service quality for both dining and catering functions.
· Address member and guest concerns promptly, ensuring exceptional service and a positive dining experience.
· Maintain a welcoming, clean, and safe environment, while overseeing facility upkeep and equipment maintenance.
· Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure high-quality food and beverage stock.
· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant and kitchen.
· Assist with budgeting, cost management, and forecasting to keep the restaurant within financial targets.
· Monitor sales performance, drive revenue growth through upselling, promotions, and guest retention strategies.
· Work closely with the restaurant manager and Food and Beverage Team to enhance member satisfaction and operational efficiency.
· Assist in planning and executing club events, banquets, and catering services with seamless coordination and service excellence.
· Foster a positive team culture, ensuring staff are motivated and trained on safety, service, and operational procedures.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 -3 years in the food industry
Annual Salary: $75, 000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
