Job Title: Assembly line Inspector and Tester- Electrical Equipment (NOC: 9524)

Employer: SystemAir Inc.

Location:  50 Kanalflakt Way, Bouctouche, NB, E4S 3M5 Canada

Wage: 15/hr for 35-40 hrs per week

Vacancy:  25 vacancies

Terms of employment: Term or contract- full time

Start Date: as soon as possible

Job Requirements:

Languages

  • English or French

Education

·       Some secondary education

Experience

·       At least 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as inspector or 2-3 years of experience as an assembler

Duties

·       Complete testing as per instructions and procedures

·       Ensure that the testing equipment used is calibrated

·       Understand how to read wiring diagrams

·       Inspect final product before shipping to ensure customer expectation is met

·       Ensure all components are included in the box

·       Operate vacuum lift equipment and tape machine

·       Perform daily maintenance of the equipment

·       Complete shop orders as supplied to them by their Team Lead

·       Read and interpret shop drawings

·       Maintain proper housekeeping of their work area

·       Ensure that all products are identified

·       Feedback completed manufacturing orders

·       Report all non-conformances regarding their shop orders to their Team Lead

·       Assume other related tasks at the request of the Production Manager or their Team Lead.

Qualifications:

·       Able to read and understand production support documentation such as assembly instructions and drawings;

·       Able to understand instructions from the production support documentation supplied to them with minimal additional instructions from a  Team Lead and complete the work as described

·       Able to perform their own set up based on the shop order and other documentation provided;

·       Must have a basic knowledge of mechanical applications;

·       Communicate clearly and effectively with others;

·       Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently;

·       Able to work overtime if needed.

·       Must have minimum working knowledge of electrical components and systems

·       Must have working knowledge of the tested products
