Jayman BUILT requires a full-time Area Sales Manager in Calgary, Alberta.

- Other location of work: 395 Union Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T3M 2L3
Salary: 99,226.4 to 150,000 annually, commensurate based on experience
Vacancies: 1 Vacancy
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 35 to 40 hours/week
- Monday to Wednesday – 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime.
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: University Degree or college diploma in a related field. Courses in new home sales preferred, such as:
PHBI Construction for ales
PHBI Professional Sales 1 and 2
Experience: 3 to 5 years of sales experience.
Transportation/Travel Information: Must have their own reliable vehicle and means of transportation. Must also have a valid driver’s license. No public transportation available to certain construction sites.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, climbing stairs through show homes and touring clients.
Work Site Environment: Indoors and outdoors on construction sites. Must have Construction Safety Certification.
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Initiative, Team player, Organized, Accurate, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Interpersonal Awareness, Reliable, values and ethics, dependable.
Specific Skills: Plan direct and evaluate the activities of sales department. Organize regional and divisional sales operations. Establish organizational policies and procedures in relation to residential sales, specifically new home sales. Determine strategic planning related to sales of new homes and building relationships with businesses and clients. Manage negotiations of sales and contracts, while strategically planning new ways to build client relationships. Conduct sales calls.
Additional Skills: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities of the establishment. May work with the marketing department to understand and communicate relevant information to continuously building and growing client base.
