Position Summary:

Igo Optical is dedicated to the care of the visual health of the population, emphasizing the prevention of eye pathologies that, if not treated, lead to blindness. As a complementary service to our offering, there is the optics service for the correction of all types of refractive errors.

Main Duties:

• Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material available in both hard copy and digital form.

• Operating telephones and switchboards; data entry; desktop publishing; and other activities involving general office and administrative skills.

• May supervise and train office staff.

• Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.

• Respond directly and offer our services to our patients, provide them with an excellent service.

• Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages

• Efficiently handle office tasks, such as document tracking, filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.

• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

• May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities

Qualifications:

 University or college degree in, Business, Accounting, among other similar.
 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in Administration.
 Experience and knowledge managing staff, meetings and agenda.
 Fluent English, spoken and written.
 Strong written and communication skills.
 Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
 Strong computer skills/experience with MS Office Basic graphic design skills and ability to learn specialized software.
 2 years of experience in customer service.

Asset:

 Spanish fluency is an asset but is not required.
 Ability to work flexible hours- some evening and weekends.
 Works well in a team environment, but also displays initiative and must be able to work independently.
