Duties:

• Prepare and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material
• Open and distribute incoming mail, both physical and electronic, and other materials, and manage information flow both inside and across departments and organisations
• Schedule and confirm appointments and prepare minutes of meetings
• Determine and establish office procedures by performing clerical and general office responsibilities, including ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Be the first point of contact answering all telephone and electronic enquiries and relaying telephone calls and messages
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
• Arrange travel schedules and make reservations when needed
• May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
• May organize conferences.

Job Requirements

Completion of secondary school. Completion of a one or two-year college or another program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Position/ Full time

Wage: $25 hourly for 30- hours per week

Location of work: Surrey, BC
