Hilux Flooring Inc. requires 3 Floor Cover Installers

Full-time year round, permanent preferred 32-40 hours per week.
Work Duration: morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, $24.00-27.00 per hour (depending on the job)

Positions available ASAP
English is required, completion of post-secondary school is an asset.

 

Duties and Skills

• Remove old flooring, scrape and level floor using different techniques.
• Measure, cut and install underlay as required
• Inspect flooring to prepare plan for installation of new flooring
• Measure and cut flooring for corners and edges to fit as required
• Install different types of flooring material such as vinyl, hard wood, carpet and more
• Dispose of old flooring and extra floor as well as leave job site clean
• Install flooring on stairs and complete edging work professionally

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience with different types of floor installation
• Use hand tools for cutting, measuring, and floor removal
• Be able to work with repetitive motions, bending and work on the floor
• Dependable, Team Player, Reliable
• Organized
• Can work under pressure
• Have attention to details
