Position: Food Service Supervisor

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $16.90-$19/hour (depending on Experience)

Hours: 30 – 44 hours per week

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations

• Inspect workstations to ensure clean, sanitized, and prepped work surfaces before the

start of incoming shift

• Ensure that food items are stored in a safe place and any expired or near expiry items are

dealt with according to the regulations

• Supervises serving of meals

• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

• May interview, select, or hire new employees.

Job requirements:

• Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and

restaurant management or related discipline

OR

1~2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.

Educational Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.

• English
