Position: Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $15.20~18.00/ hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 30-40 hours/ week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals and dishes for customers
- Prepare, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Check food and ingredients for freshness
- Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before store opening
- Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
- Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
- Train and supervise kitchen helpers
- Maintain kitchen inventory, supplies and equipment
- Maintain good sanitation around work area
- Offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants
- Order kitchen supplies and equipment when needed
Education Requirements:
- Secondary School
Experience Requirements:
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
Language Requirements:
- English
