Experience:
two years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
Languages:
Written and Oral English
Specific Skills:
– Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and quality food service.
– Manage all aspects of food service, including supervising basic beverage offerings.
– Help develop and update the menu, suggesting food options and simple beverage pairings when needed.
– Coordinate with suppliers to purchase food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
– Ensure that food preparation and service meet quality standards, and comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
– Hire, train, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff such as servers and support staff.
– Create staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure quality service.
– Oversee inventory, track food and beverage sales, and adjust pricing or purchasing strategies as needed.
– Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
– Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.
