Working Location: 8383 CROMPTON ST. VANCOUVER, BC

Terms of Employment: Permanent

Salary: $18 /Hourly

Hours of Work: 35 hours/week

Benefits: Bonus, 4% of gross salary (Vacation Payment), extended medical insurance

Duties:

• People are needed to work in Seafood production plant
• Receive/ Shipping seafood
• Crack, spoon, clean, brine seafood
• Pack, weigh, grade, seal and place in master cartons, label seafood for order shipment
• Cut, Eviscerate and clean of tuna by using appropriate tools
• Set up and operate machines to de-bone, de-skin, bag/Vacuum frozen and fresh tuna
• Clean, grade, store, box, weigh, label for cold storage and/or shipment frozen and fresh tuna
• Clean work area and equipment in the plant

Employment requirements:
Experience:

Prior plant work experience is an asset but NOT necessary required

All the gear and on-job training will be provided

Education: Completion of Secondary School

Weight Handling:

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Work Site Environment:

Wet/damp; Cold/refrigerated; Noisy

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available / Company Car

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Standing for extended periods; Overtime required; Handling heavy loads; Bending, crouching, kneeling
